Custom Volume EMA Study (ThinkOrSwim Only)

This is the volume indicator I use on all my charts — it takes the normal volume average you see in ThinkOrSwim and replaces it with a smoother, faster EMA-based average. It makes it way easier to see when volume is actually picking up versus when it’s just random noise.

Instead of relying on the default volume line (which can feel slow and laggy), this version reacts quicker, giving you a cleaner read on breakouts, trend continuation, pullbacks, or anything where volume matters. It keeps your charts simple and readable while still giving you a more accurate sense of what’s happening behind the price action.
